徕卡新推出的X2是X1的升级版，国外不少论坛的评论对徕卡不思进取的做法都表示失望，但这样也控制了成本，价格会控制在大家可接受的范围。和X1相比，我概括总结了X2如下特点：

优点：1 .X2自动对焦速度大大提升，据说和X1根本不在一个层次上；
2. CMOS传感器升级到1620万有效像素的，成像的宽容度会有所提高，图像打印可以放的更大;
3. 各种按钮手感更好，更耐用，闪光灯有保护栓，不会无故弹出来；
4. LCD屏幕尽管仍然是23万像素低分辨率，但色彩饱和度和强光下的清晰度有所提升；
5. 关机速度特别快；
6. 可选一款外置144万像素“Viso-Flex”EVF电子取景器；

缺点：1. X2低感光度下成像的噪点比X1明显（尤其在ISO3200情况下），这也是传感器像素提高后的必然结果；
2 . X2开机启动速度明显比X1要慢，这点是最不能容忍的，尽管X2的开机速度仍然快于富士X100。
3. X1原来一些固有的不足，X2当然都具备。

总之，X1的用户要偷笑了，好像没有升级的必要。

The Leica Elmarit 24 mm f/2.8 ASPH. is a true Leica non-interchangeable lens with superior optical performance. When seen in terms of 35-mm film format, it has a focal length of 35mm.

Many seem to think this is not a “real” Leica 24 Elmarit. Well, after 3 weeks of daily use, I can tell you it is a real Leica lens, or at least it performs like one. The X1 has been giving me the the quality I expect in a Leica lens. Yes the barrel is plastic, and the lens is less substantial, but the quality IS indeed there in the images.

But I must say that I have heard some pretty good things about this $3800 lens over the years. Terms such as “magical”, “3D” and “amazingly sharp” have been used to describe the way this lens draws and I was VERY excited to finally test one out for myself.

As you can see, the 24 Elmarit at 2.8, wide open, is about as sharp as anyone could EVER ask for. It’s almost TOO sharp as you can see in the crop above. Also, this lens stays sharp all the way to the edges of the frame. As for sharpness, this is the sharpest lens I have EVER used or owned and it literally KILLS the Canon 24L when both lenses are shot at 2.8. Amazing.

Now, let me get to what REALLY amazed me with this lens. Besides the crazy sharpness this lens does indeed have a 3D look to its images sometimes. The reason you get this 3D look is due to to the sharpness and micro contrast of the lens. This lens delivers the 3D look many of us crave.

I used to own a Canon 24 L 1.4 lens when I shot with a Canon 5D. As much as I loved that lens, it is not in the same league as this Leica.
